Keeping the housing lists up to date is a vital component for councils in providing social housing. Without accurate information on the needs of people on the housing list it is very difficult to ensure that the best use is being made of the available housing stock.

The DORAS Portal HNA module allows people on the housing list to keep their housing needs details up to date. In 2022, Fingal County Council used our HNA module and invited applicants to submit their return online. There was a 60% uptake and the team found that the turnaround for online applications was considerably quicker and more efficient.

This annual process is time consuming and costly when processed manually.
One council we work with estimates that it is costing them 2000 hours in overtime each year to carry out the HNA process manually. They are looking at our product for 2023 return to make significant reduction in the staff costs.
