Form design was user driven and focused on dealing with the limitations and inefficiencies of paper based applications as experienced by Council staff with extensive experience in handling applications. Using the DORAS Portal HAP module both the tenant and landlord sections of the HAP application are completed online. Council administrators can liaise with tenants and landlords independently using online query facility and receive updates in minutes.

Applying for a Local Authority Home Loan (LAHL) is a lengthy and complicated process. With the DORAS Portal LAHL module applicants can provide all of the necessary information online, including uploading all of the relevant back up documents.

Screening Services
The local authority may avail of our screening services to speed up the processing of applications by vetting the data and documents submitted on a daily basis. Queries are raised and are answered by the applicants through the portal so full transparency is maintained. As soon as applications have closed and all queries have been answered we can then provide the final qualifying list of applicants to the council.
This greatly speeds up the processing of applications and does it without disrupting normal Council operations.
Project Management
We provide project management services to ensure that all implementations go smoothly. Once the system goes live we monitor its performance to ensure the uptime targets are met and that the performance is acceptable.
